Current Project Hightlights

Our primary tools are human MiniPromoters that drive region- and cell-specific gene expression in the mouse brain. Additional tools include expression constructs, mouse embryonic stem cell lines, and knock-in mice all of which carry brain-specific MiniPromoters.

Our tools are designed for easy modification of our MiniPromoters into your expression system, or your favorite gene into our expression system. Importantly, we have the expertise to deliver bioinformatically-designed and in vivo tested MiniPromoter tools customized to recapitulate interesting gene expression patterns.

Our mission is to enable region- and cell-specific gene-delivery therapies for such devastating diseases as Alzheimer, Parkinson, Huntington, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Multiple sclerosis, Spinocerebellar ataxia, depression, autism, and cancer.
