Definitions
  • MiniPromoter (MiniP): Less than or equal to 4 kb human DNA (A, B, C, D, etc.)
  • MaxiPromoters (MaxiP): BAC-based (more than 4 kb) human DNA (XA, XB, etc.)
  • DESIGNS: We have completed the in silico design of the promoter.
  • CONSTRUCTS: We have made a plasmid (MiniP) or BAC (MaxiP) that carries the promoter 5' of a reporter gene.
  • ESC LINES: We have knocked the Pleiades Promoter in to the Hprt locus in embryonic stem cells.
  • MICE: We have some mice carrying the Pleiades Promoter in their genome at Hprt.
  • BRAIN IMAGES: We have some images from brain sections from our generated lines.
