Figure 1
Description:

Figure 1:
A-D: Sagittal section of EGFP-immunostaining of an adult Ple185-EGFP N2 male. Double immunostaining was performed with rabbit anti-EGFP (green) and mouse anti-S100 (red). A: Many EGFP positive processes are found in internal plexiform and granule cell layers of the Olfactory bulb. S100 positive cells are mainly located in the glomerular and external plexiform layers. Some EGFP positive processes show co-expression with S100 (arrows). B: EGFP positive fibers are found in different layers of cortex. C: EGFP positive tracks pass through the striatum. D: EGFP positive nerve fibers are present in the medial forebrain bundle, going through the medial brain to the striatum, some co-express S100 (arrows). Bar=50μm.

Figure 2:
Double immunostaining with rabbit anti EGFP (green) and mouse anti S100 (red) on an adult Ple185-EGFP N2 male. A and B are sagittal sections of brain. Numerous EGFP positive profiles are observed in the brain stem (A), some of them co-expressing S100 (arrows). B, EGFP-positive cells are found in the molecular layer and in the white matter of the cerebellum. Few cells co-express S100 (arrows). C and D are coronal sections of the spinal cord. A large number of neuronal tracks is observed in the grey matter. Some radial glia cell bodies show co-expression with S100 (arrows). Bar=50μm.
